Coyoacán
The concept for this project came from a place of missing my home in Miami and missing Mexico. These are my own photographs that I took while in Coyoacán, a city in Central Mexico. I repurposed them for this project to make Risograph Postcards to send to my family in Miami. 
I used a process of color separation in photoshop to make distinct layers for the CMYK channels in the images. Then, I converted the layers to black and white to be able to print on a Risograph machine that floods the black areas with colored ink. A simulation of the printing process available below.
