Parranda Dinner Party
The pandemic has all but eliminated celebrations and family gatherings. Inspired by an interview with my Puerto Rican mother, I decided to create three objects for a hypothetical dinner party to get some of this time back. I utilized festive colors and patterns reminiscent of festivities in Puerto Rico the illustrative designs. The final products are a pop-up invitation, a decorated tambourine and maracas to be used during the party.
