Emilie Gateau is a director, writer, and editor with a Nicaraguan French background based in Brooklyn. As a filmmaker, her goal is to tell visually impactful stories that explore challenging life scenarios and the ways nuanced and complex characters make their way through them.
I chose to spotlight Gateau’s compelling cinematography by creating a clean and minimal website. Projects can be accessed by menu or through the tag navigation. This showcases her many talents as a director, writer, editor, and illustrator. The red accents and peach background highlight the personality and elegance of her films.
